A storyteller at heart with a background in journalism (working for ABC programs like Landline and Back Roads), I take a very relaxed while professional approach to my shoots. Calm but confident. Prepared but flexible for when things don’t quite go ‘to plan’ – it starts raining, a nappy needs changing or the wedding party is running late. My hope is that you and anyone in front of the lens feel super comfortable and themselves. The result? A gallery of authentic and captivating images that make you go, 'that's us'.

Producing profiles in my time as a photojournalist, I’ve been blessed to be welcomed into and capture people’s lives – with all sorts of stories, backgrounds and personalities, from all parts of Australia. I get the biggest kick out of capturing the extraordinary in the ordinary everyday. These are almost always people who don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera – this is very normal (natural even) and something I love to 'work' with!
 
I want you to be you, whilst offering some gentle guidance to put you at ease.
 
I approach every shoot with a deep desire to understand you and any hopes and desires you have. In the lead up to us getting a camera out, I’ll chat with you to determine anything that may be helpful, including any insecurities you may have around a shoot. This ensures we make the absolute most of our time together. I also do my own research beforehand to assess things like best locations (where the light hits and when etc.) and drone permissions. So, if you're after photos that are real, candid and comfortable - get in touch.

Taking photos around the Hills and greater Adelaide region. I spend a lot of time with, and love working with kids and have my Working with Children Check. I’m also licensed to fly drones (CASA Remote Pilot License) which helps with access to certain areas and flying parameters.
